I had made Junglecat controller cases for my galaxy fold but just got a S23 Ultra and decided to make another for this phone.
I love how perfectly the size of the controllers matches the phone width. It makes it look like one cohesive device!
Speakers, USB and pen are all accessible still.
I am willing to share the STL for free to anyone interested, but if you want to leave me a ‘tip’ you can buy the file from my store for five bucks (Frogcase)
Long Switch can’t hurt you. Long Switch isn’t real.
Not real, but can hurt you in other ways
😂
I use the Kishi and combined with the Steam Link app I’m hard pressed to understand why my friends all keep buying Steam Decks.
Phones are so powerful these days too. Plus I can game for 6 hours on my phone straight, try that on a steam deck lol.
120hz top-of-the-line OLED, really nice speakers, and it’s not another device to charge and carry with you.
Also, using my Fold with the Junglecat controllers + my case is like having a giant screen steam-deck that can fit in my pocket. no comparison IMO
Funny thing, I did the exact same thing just a few days before you did.
parallel thought I guess!
I’d love to check out what you came up with if you have the files up somewhere!
I used this project and just took some measurements to fill in: https://github.com/SiloCityLabs/Cuttlephone
And here’s a PR I made with the correct measurements: https://github.com/SiloCityLabs/Cuttlephone/pull/18
Edit: I can provide the STL tomorrow, I’m on my phone now.
You can usually just add the plain controller rails to any working phone case.
I found a design that worked well, redesigned it to be better and added the controller rails.
I think the rail files are on thingiverse
