I know the point of a sandwich is to eat it in its entirety, bite by bite. But, lately, I’ve been finding it a little more satisfying by taking a fork and eating one by layer. It won’t work for all sandwiches, particularly classic ones like a PB&J or a BLT one. But for something like a croissantwich from somewhere like BK or even one bought frozen, yeah that can work.

Those guys don’t pick apart their sandwiches, that’s for sure
OP, are you okay?

Why wouldn’t it work for a BLT? If your bacon, lettuce and tomato are merging into a single homogeneous blend on their own they probably aren’t safe to eat.
I had a friend who did that with maccas burgers. Honestly thought she had an eating disorder.
i used to do that all the time, and still do it with sushi and stuff sometimes…
I eat pies by taking off the top crust first and then slowly going through it as an open top pie.
Or at home I just spoon out the insides and add sauce to the pastry part when that’s all that’s left
I’m most concerned about these frozen sandwiches
Ahh, I saw some of those weird kids in school that only eat the meat of the sandwich/burger then discard the rest…
Seems like Lemmy has similar demographics xD
I’d love to see this with a grilled cheese
My kid used to do this, but she mostly quit around 3 or 4.
I do this often when I eat a Dominostein. Does it count as sandwich?
