archive.today and archive.ph (also .is, .md, .fo, .li, .vn) are DDOSing a blogger (pic) who investigated them. They could also be Russian assets (js from mail[.]ru).

Which newspaper, which donor?

Obligatory comment on the complete lack of accountability:

Depending on what you just sent to All, it’s perfectly reasonable.

On one hand it would be the ultimate punishment for people like this … on the other, it’s easy to hide a missing dick, and just removes the sexual but leaves the violence.

People are so oblivious to this shit.
… OK, no, there’s a slow dawning that online privacy is important for many reasons, but it never seems to translate into action. Probably largely because there’s hardly any consumer alternatives. Employers have been renewing contracts with Big Tech for decades and can’t be arsed to even think about changing their behavior.
They’re still going to buy new surveillophones just to be able to log in again.

Nice

Manic, Meltdown
also see “unhinged”, bizarre, gibberish, confused etc.
I bet journalists have lists of adjectives stored somewhere and one of them is labeled Trump.
I feel there’s a police officer’s kid involved in this somehow.

It’s never just one parent’s fault in such cases, esp. not solely the absent one’s. I suspect a volatile combination of both fatherly & motherly abuse, the latter probably more subtle.

Long ago I heard about his brother being just as vile as Andrew so at least those two are vile all the way down.
There was some mention of father/mother but in my memory they don’t register on the vile-o-meter.

Which one? At least 2 to choose from.

The laptop would probably play a prominent role in the narrative.

Exploit scripts can be bought on the darknet. Or possibly just googled. Claude’s role in this is close to insignificant.

And no-skilled attackers can buy exploits.
Claude helping is insignificant to the story.
The real headline should be:
At least 14 companies’ IT security is practically non-existent

What a thumbnail!

My new home is in the Nordics, and first snow barely impacts traffic. Trains and buses are on time. It always makes me chuckle with schadenfreude because my old home was and still is the opposite: snow = chaos. Accidents, ridiculous delays, traffic jams…
Canceling “because it snowed” would not be a good excuse here. Unless you’re a plow operator.

Piefed shows me all posts about the same link together. This has also been posted to ‘death to nato’ @ lemmygrad. The tankie is strong in this one.

Somehow I feel this isn’t the first time?
Whatever it’s called - copwashing? - has long tradition in US news outlets.
