I think I’ve seen this before and someone said it was AI. Naturally I believe everything I read on the internet so, I don’t admire the effort.

Looks more Polish to me. Maybe I need my eyes tested.
Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldto New Communities@lemmy.world•!communitypromo@lemmy.ca can also help with communities discoveryEnglish1·2 months agoCommunity promo could be different to new communities. I might not be around when a new community is created and first announced, but at a later date someone might promote the community again. That seems like a useful and possibly better idea. Have I understood correctly?

Oh no! Won’t someone please think of the investors?
Company executives say the fault lies with regulators who kept bills too low for too long, starving the company of the cash it needed to fund improvements.
If you haven’t got money for improvements, stop diverting the money you did have into your own pockets. 17 billion in debt?! Fuck you.
Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your opinion on mandatory military service?3·3 months agoIndoctrinated is precisely the word I use to describe my pro military upbringing. Many people join young, realise what’s up and leave after minimum terms. I have no shame in saying I was basically brainwashed when I was younger.
Something about eggs in one basket.

Drilling costs are falling so fast, by 2027 it will be able to provide baseload electricity at the same price.English5·3 months agoThere has never been a serious investigation into how much wind or solar you need to remove from the climate system before causing a noticeable impact, because it isn’t a serious concern. There is probably some theydidthemath type content to show how ridiculous the idea is.
Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is there a way to have a less depressing Lemmy experience?2·4 months agoI asked a similar question about solutions to this. There is a tags feature coming that I’m really excited for that will really help. This will allow more robust filtering and customisation of your feed.
Don’t be a grammar republican.
I just assumed this channel was dead. Nice.

There are too many problems with the death penalty to ever justify it. I’m expecting this person to have a tough time in prison due to what they did, so in some ways this could be worse for them, if retribution rather than rehabilitation is your preference. So long as they are away from society it is a good result.

Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would it ever be possible to enforce post tags on Lemmy?7·4 months agoYou’ve already had a good reply, but I’ll go more general. I want to see the news. I don’t want to see news about Elon. I want to see memes, but not memes about Trump.
It isn’t realistic to have communities for everyone’s preferences.
Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would it ever be possible to enforce post tags on Lemmy?6·4 months agoI’m using keyword filters here and I’m getting memes, screenshots of twitter or content that naturally creeps through. What is the advantage of RSS in that regard? I’m keen to check it out if it works.
Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.worldOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would it ever be possible to enforce post tags on Lemmy?5·4 months agoTags in titles doesn’t really work, I was thinking about a new field entirely. Multiple tags could exist without crowding the title.
I think tags that can be community added and voted on would be better than mandatory now I think about it some more.
Depending where you are, you might have a legal responsibility to control them. Even if you don’t, I would seriously consider getting some traps because they could become a serious issue if left to multiply. The fact one got in the house should be an alarm bell.
My neighbour throws bird seed around and when I work from home I always see rats in their garden. I’ve told them and it carries on. I think it is extremely unfair to me the other neighbours to knowingly have rats and essentially encourage them by continuing to feed them.
Traps and any potential improvements to the compost rig should be high on the list based on what you have described.
Edit, I’ve merged yours and OPs writing in my tired mind, but the general point is the same.
