Granted, it’s possible that well over half their stuff is not in a “collection” (which would be kind of odd, IMHO), but that’s the only hard number I’m able to find. I don’t see the 300+K quantity mentioned anywhere immediately obvious.

That seems to be the case here. Looking at the first icon in the first collection, its page has a line that reads “This Icon is part of: Nimble Tiny Flat Collection”. But the page for the first icon under “All latest” does not have a line like that.
