  • Every plant is poisonous. Humans are basically the only mammal that eats capsaicin, caffeine, menthol. Grapes are toxic for everything except a few things. Plants don’t have the ability to pull out a gun to defend itself and so it uses poison, or irritants like thorns. This isn’t limited to pants with animals. Plants are also toxic to other plants. The example that I deal with the most is black walnut. I tried growing plants and when I used the walnut leaves for mulch it would kill the plants I tried growing.

  • The last time I believed trailers was dead island.

The only reason why I played cs1 so much was because of the mods. I like to play the vanilla game before modding. I bought the game knowing that I would like it for a month or two, then I would wait for mods to come out and I’d hop back into it. I knew what I was getting and I didn’t have a problem with the game. I don’t need a city builder to be high frames. I didn’t have a lot of bugs. I’m totally fine with the game, as long as the modding scene stays with the game.

My worry is that all the negativity around the game will make less modders appear for cs2.

Looking back at other city builders releases cs2 release is fine. I don’t understand the extent of negativity. Just ask for a refund. If the game gets better with age then buy it when it is cheaper. I’m sure these people have other games to play. CS1 seems to be popular still. Nothing happened to that game.

  • I think it’s fine, as in I don’t understand the doom and gloom of your post.

Popular just means lowest common denominator. It’s just a standard joke. It sets up expectations of “just another bumper sticker” and then it surprises you with it doing the absurd thing it promised that you didn’t think was going to happen. Then it also references ‘Men In Black’, which is also going to make other people enjoy it for the reference.

Comedy used to be slap stick and minstrel shows. A horror movie was a train going forward. This too shall pass.

  • It’s been two people bud. Other guy took over for me and I don’t see a need to repeat the information, he did a better job than what I would’ve done.

Your statement is correct in he became popular because of his voice on C-16.

Listen I don’t care to spell out every detail on why his statements ARE harassment. I don’t feel like you care to listen. That’s fine, no one expects you to be superman. It’s okay to not be right sometimes. You don’t have to change, you’ll just be left behind. Good luck gamer.

  • I help fix people’s cars and make them only pay for parts. I have a shit vehicle I can give to them while it happens. I give my neighbors rides. I jump the cars, I air up their tires. I donate to food not bombs, and I feel like I should volunteer there. Feel free to ask for car advice, worst case I say I don’t know :)

Depending on how you define good and did it was either listen to a coworkers talk about their inner demons when it comes to being a parent, or I drove an hour to help out a neighbor who asked a few minutes before we started driving.

  • I do agree. Unfortunately most manufacturers of diesel engines aren’t stoked about environmental regulations and plenty have stopped trying all together.

Currently their plan is to just throw more urea at the exhaust.

I remember them having to bypass the DEF system on a lot of vehicles because they didn’t make enough spare parts of the system they put in. So I’m sure they knew either face public backlash or get fined by the government. It was probably a calculation where the 2b was on the cheaper side from them. I’m sure they made enough money that they don’t feel the need to fight it.

Once again, not an endorsement. I’m sure every diesel engine manufacturer is/will/was doing the same thing.

  • "By taking a holistic look at the yearly progression of the Antarctic ozone hole over the last two decades, we find that:

The addition of recent years to the Antarctic (60°S–90°S) total column ozone time series results in insignificant long-term change since the early 2000’s, even where significant recovery has previously been reported. During this time, we find a delay in both the deep ozone hole onset date as well as the breakup date."

Tl:dr if all you’re doing is looking at the peak/minimum times of year it can seem better. The hole “breathes” and they’re getting delayed.

I work on diesel trucks, they create a lot of N0x. This article talks about how N0x being bad. It’s a niche thing but I at least understand why I tend to see these things first.

  • There is less war, but that’s not always a great indicator. Depending on how you define “war” you could even define Ukraine/Russian war not as a war.

Life expectancy is going up because of 3rd world countries finally catching up. It’s going down in America.

The “world” is also getting richer. But the average person is getting poorer.

Also ozone layer isn’t doing great, there are race riots still, there is threat of nuclear war with Russia existing in its current state, a lot of rights are threatened and a lot of people want to return to a time before women’s suffrage. I haven’t looked up anything on infant mortality, but I imagine with abortion band happening that will also change for the worse.

The only peace I’ve found is action.
