When compared to Trump & Vance, yup!
When compared to Trump & Vance, yup!
Our polling station is between the chippy and the offy - so vote, grub & bottle of booze to shout at the telly with!
I’m trying to be better, but I’ve done some stuff I’m not proud of…
Mate, I think you’re missing the point - whether you “deserve” bad things or not is completely irrelevant - bad things happen to good people all the time, the universe does not care.
The only thing you can do is try to be better; but not on other people’s judgement just yours - you are the only person who has to live with your conscience.
You may go to jail if you’re doing illegal shit tho…
No it’s not censorship because if you want to see Lemmygrad’s content then you can join Lemmygrad.
In the same way, I like gardening and so subscribe to ‘Gardeners World’; doesn’t mean everyone else should be subjected to posts about weeding, feeding and getting rid of blackfly if they are not interested in that.
He’s done this before, and you haven’t made a complaint???!
Passing snuff movies around is disgusting - IANAL but I would suggest that at minimum it would be Gross Misconduct and, probably, highly illegal and he should be immediately dismissed and possibly arrested.
However, I’m not a lawyer so I would contact ACAS ASAP, see https://www.acas.org.uk/ and log everything, inc. previous videos he’s sent around - don’t delete your evidence! But ACAS will advise you best.
Would like both - but obviously money’s the priority if it’s mutually exclusive!
Yep, like being paid to their friends for PPE that does work or doesn’t turn up!
Maybe Jacob Reece-Mogg could stick notes to their desks and they might ‘get the message’
/S - deep eye roll & depression!
Just speculation, but it might be that it’s “not onion-y” because it is completely believable and “par for the course” of the US’s relationship with Israel, despite the irony.
Might do better in “Awful Everything” or “A Boring Dystopia” as at least they’ll appreciate the nihilistic depression of it??
But, don’t know for sure, just speculation…
Blimey, Cleverly really is trying to lay the ground work, isn’t he, it’s not 13 years of Torry mis-management at all is it - it’s those foreign actors. Do they send the boats, too??? /s
There’s a difference between disinformation and “rigging an election”; disinformation will increase with AI, but most of the UK are not dependent on Social Media for information - and GBNews and TalkTV are dead in the water -“PopCons” are popular ‘in name only’!
When even Jacob Reece-Mogg is starting to think FPTP doesn’t work “the end is nigh” - and, bloody hell, they are scared, aren’t they!
AI deepfakes? - Bring it on! We’ll laugh at them in a very British way - with a bit of luck it’ll be as funny as Python or Blackadder, or possibly Spitting Image!
No, no they are not, annnnnnnd 6 months and they won’t be in charge in England either - not that I’m counting down or anything…
Nowt wrong wi’ that! My Mam used to make mi’ Dad Rhubarb & Custard Yorkies - he was from Huddersfield and she was from Sheffield; an you can’t get more Yorkshire than that!
You don’t need to have sweet batter though, just sweet fillings! Lovely!
Apart from that, have to agree with everything Soku@lemmy.world says - Def delish!
There are some “secret” Tories??? All the ones I know are very loud and proud!
“I do have concerns about them using ingredients like vitamin C, vitamin A (retinoids) and exfoliating acids like AHAs and BHAs.”
As someone who’s ‘into’ skincare, it also happens that the ingredients mentioned are also amongst the best treatments for blackheads, spots, sebaceous filaments and other assorted teenage/hormonal changes skin issues - I suspect this article is not about ageing, but about “youngsters” being more educated about what they need!
Vit C has also been shown to help boost spf’s, so is something recommended to anyone at any age (if your skin ‘gets on’ with it).
This is a stupid article, as Guardian subscriber I’m very disappointed, it’s a ‘nothing’ article that I’d more expect of the Mail!
An independent commission of judges select from ‘proposed candidates of merit’ (15 years service) who then tell the King and PM who they want, who then formalise the appointment.
This is (supposedly) to prevent any particular political leanings, as it’s based on legal experience not political party appointments.
I personally take that with a certain amount of salt, as it helps to have had a certain amount of privilege to get that far - in my personal opinion.

To be fair, she’s ugly on the outside too…
Interesting that only two of the kids are showing hands, so we can’t count fingers…
