I decided to try Stellaris. The changes post 2.0 are not as complex as I thought. I still miss the wormhole and warp drives though. I also liked picking between laser/bullets/torpedoes. Wish they would bring that back. In this game, I’m a Megacorporation that has almost turned the entire galaxy into it’s subsidiary. Only 1 empire remains, they have a few subjects of their own, but it’s just a matter of time until they’re torn apart and become a subsidiary. After that, all that is left is to destroy Unbidden which should be appearing any time now.
I’ve been giving Endless Space 2 another try. Did a Horatio win, now I’m doing a Riftborn playthrough. I feel this game is a bit barebones. I want to like it, but after 1 or 2 playthroughs, I feel bored and need to move on. The orchestral music is great though.
I was thinking of trying Stellaris again, haven’t touched it in years. The 2.0 update was a deal breaker for me.

When the US manages to use AI to help maintain and detect problems across thousands of kms of railroad, let me know.
I played it at launch. It was buggy. But even without the bugs, it doesn’t hold a candle to Witcher 3.
I worked in a company where the dofus clueless CTO decided to transfer half of the data centers to the cloud to cut costs. I’ve since left the company, but I always knew this would happen.
