It makes sense that they are trying to sabotage our efforts to be climate neutral, because they really don’t want us producing our own energy on our roofs or with wind turbines on local hills. Me having solar on my roof is a nightmare for some billionaire in Texas, some Saudi sheik or that guy in the Kreml.

This makes sense - Tesla is overvaluated in comparison to other car manufacturers. Musk has created a really big image problem. The Cybertruck is a disaster that really makes you wonder if their priorities are right. Chinese car companies are starting to flood the market. The Semi truck is not going anywhere. It’s a really bad spot for a company that is valuated more than all of its biggest competitors to be in.

I own a lot of systems and games and, well, you have a point. Gaming on an original device is really nice, but everybody should really think hard about just buying some flash drives for their favorite systems. Games are mass produced. Nothing artsy there. Just mass produced entertainment. A CD-Rom with some nice prints on there. A plastic shell with a sticker. A box. Nice to look at and if you can get them cheap, buy them. But there is no reason to spend hundreds of dollars to buy that one game from some scalper.

Das halte ich für ein massives Fehlurteil - Lebensmittel tragen ja häufig geografische Ursprungsangaben. Wiener Würstchen, Frankfurter Grüne Soße, Bolognese, Hollandaise und so weiter. Es gehört seit Jahrhunderten dazu, dass sich Lebensmittel, Rezepte etc. über die Welt verteilen und logischerweise taucht da häufig der Ursprungsort im Namen auf. Das ist das normalste der Welt und keiner würde auf die Idee kommen, dass ein Frankfurter Würstchen oder ein Königsberger Klops unbedingt in Frankfurt oder Königsberg hergestellt werden muss.

Die EU hat extra geschützte geographische Angaben geschaffen, um bestimmte Lebensmittelherstellungsorte zu schützen (Champagner, Schwarzwälder Schinken) und auch das ist schon schwierig. Die gibt es aber für Dubai Schokolade nicht - und ich weiß auch nicht, warum hier ein Richter gegen eine jahrhundertealte menschliche Praxis urteilt.
