Sucks, but that will provide decades of benefits for the rest of us
Which ironically makes them all look more life like
Good point. If a lawyer is stupid enough to use AI, he’s probably too stupid to be a good lawyer in the first place
It’s a mirror. Of course it’s backwards. It makes belts look like you fastened them from your back…
Seriously though I’m not even sure how you’d do this
Hansen Mmmmbop is my goto
Property value in most places absolutely sets your taxes, which is part of your monthly mortgage payment
So yes, the principal+interest doesn’t change but when most people talk about their monthly mortgage they talk about the total amount they pay to live in their house that they’re making payments on
Yeah, the dumbest and worst people will be dying to get this. I don’t see a problem
It’s great if the concept of a conscience is disgusting to you and you’re proud of all the progress you made that was even partly because of the things you’re trying to get rid of
The Venu has 3. Forerunner 5. I use both (buttons and screens, not both devices)
Garmin has all that.
Maybe for something like a notification you can just see how many there are and tap into it to see different types. But they’re there
Having the battery last about 10x longer makes that minor inconvenience worth it
There’s plenty of watch faces with cool shit on them in the store, same as with Google
And having had watches that do respond to “hey Google” they were super iffy and inconsistent. Buttons are easier to avoid frustration, which the Garmin has.
As far as “smartwatch capabilities” I haven’t missed anything from my Wear watch. I certainly don’t miss charging it every day or having it die by 5pm because I actually used it
I’m charging my Garmin this morning. Haven’t charged it since Sunday… a week ago Sunday
And they pretty much have made most of the utility locked behind an $80 subscription
No thanks
It’s also amazing that they’re “perfectly compatible” with the first teenage boy their parents let her talk to for more than 4 minutes alone
Some say it’s vain to make your tires look like your brain but sometimes you just have to go with what you feel
My household all has iPhones but me. They go through at minimum 3 a year
I’m still on the same USB C cable I kept from my pixel 1, and I use it on my 7, still use the same car charging cord from 7 years ago too
The problem is the paradox of “it doesn’t matter what server you pick” while also giving them a choice.
If choices don’t matter, why have a choice?
Although I disagree that it doesn’t matter
Alternative headline: remote work adds billions into workers’ pockets and an immeasurable amount of happiness
Maybe because, like me, they don’t understand the difference
Maybe let them get birth control without their parents’ permission? They block that too
