When they decided to defederate certain instances, I went to eslemmy…until it disappeared without warning. I had the same luck with firefish.social. I signed up to try it out, it looked promising, but it was very slow. Now it’s dead too.
For me, Lemmy was not yet ready for the amount of users coming from Reddit.
