Ahoy, guys.
Be the change you want to see in this world, don’t let Thomas Edison continue to shit on everything from his grave.

Are we talking something like NixOS?
Thanks for the clarification. This is how I find out that I’m old.
I’m very sorry, but what is ITT and baww?
Yeah this is never a good sign.
That being said, perhaps because I got into a couple.of their podcasts, but I like a bunch of people at IGN. How come you’re not a fan?
I have yet to have a solid informed grasp of whether Palworld manifested their sources of inspiration in good faith, but my tentative opinion at the moment is that hopefully this presses the Pokemon Company to innovate and elevate their overall game. The switch generation to me represented a generation of mismanagement and obvious management generated timelines and barriers, which is super unfortunate for Pokemon’s transition to a console.
Competition hopefully might change that.
+1 on the “don’t engage him or this” gang.
I know, right? But I suppose their reasoning is that my ads are also blocked across the rest of their ecosystem, my subscription isn’t covering those losses.
Still though, a model that requires that customers look at something they don’t want to nor will engage with smells like failure.
I can’t remember what video I watched that talked about the unsustainabilty and likely the late stages of an ad revenue driven internet content model, and this situation reeks of that.
I don’t know what new paradigm might replace it if this is the case, but the current model feels like it’s absolutely failing.
So I have YouTube premium but also have ad-blocker, for the first time yesterday I was noticing absolutely abysmal speeds on YouTube and I suspect this is why. I thought my computer was starting to shit the bed initially it was so brutal.
Smh my head
That number is way too low, we ought to be at more than that right now.
Yes, myself included.
Trials and Children of Mana makes me dubious that this is going to be any good.
Not that I have progressed enough financially yet to be in a position to buy a Tesla Model S, it’s gone from a dream car to something I’d be ashamed to own because of being disillusioned by who Elon Musk is over the past few years.
Yeah beyond tower defence games I agree.
Play whatever you want, I doubt you’re getting weird looks for playing anything in public.
I personally despise the mobile gaming industry as a whole for its propensity for going live service or shovelware in the vast majority of instances. Of course I can think of gems in the rough but in many cases it went for a business model I ended being disappointed in.
At the end of the day, the switch and steam deck are far preferable on the go gaming platforms that suit me much better.
I hummed hawed on this over the past few years to finally end up in the pixel watch 2, being sold on getting workout, sleep and general heartrate metrics.
If only I wasn’t such a moron with trying to navigate around Nvidia drivers and Optimus, this sounds fantastic.
I have yet to figure all of this out and get to a smooth and stable state.
