That PowerPoint Prez at the end of the review hit me hard. I have this game pre ordered because I love Mothership and Nausicaa, but I didn’t get deep into the PDFs because I much prefer reading my RPGs on paper. This might make me run this game next, as soon as me and my players get tired of the scifi horror tropes.

I have kept most of my Nintendo systems, but I sold my GameCube and now I regret it.

Games are still playable on my Wii, but I would have modded the GC to load games from a sd card to make it more future proof, as the disk reading part is the most fragile.

I would suggest:

1. Use any debian 12 iso
2. When you get to the stage where you get to choose what to install (it’s called tasksel and looks like : untick whatever desktop environment is selected. You’ll get a bare minimal install with no graphics server
3. Reboot into the installed system, and install whatever you want from there.
