He hasn’t been found guilty of anything, yet, but that’s largely (imo) because the Merrick Garland DOJ has refused to prosecute and blocked attempts to independently figure out what the hell he’s doing.
I think it’s highly likely he’s guilty of sex trafficking minors and both the DOJ and the ethics committee know this.
If he had an “R” next to his name, no doubt.
She’s not, i don’t think she wants this to happen and i think she knows that people won’t agree to this kind of thing.
But what she’s saying is right. The people deserve to know what our representatives are up to.

Only one danger could have jeopardized this development – if our adversaries had understood its principle, established a clear understanding of our ideas, and not offered any resistance. Or, alternatively, if they had from the first day annihilated with the utmost brutality the nucleus of our new movement.
They could have fought then, we can fight now. It’s getting a little late in the game, but i do not think it is too late.

This practice of appointing Republicans to critical positions to demonstrate bipartisanship has got to stop. (If the Dems ever get another chance, at least)
Honestly, this whole thing has been a fuck up.
If this guy could focus on what he’s good at and keep his damn mouth shut he wouldn’t be in this situation.

Their job was to demonstrate that they knew what was happening, had a plan to address it, and their plan was being blocked by politicians who had none of that. They didn’t even try and i don’t think they ever really wanted to. Same with Obama bailing out the banks and leaving the regular people with the bill during the financial crash of 2008. (That was in no small part Bush’s fault, but he didn’t even try something different.)
That is the only lesson they are ever capable of winning. If they win, it’s because they were like the Republicans so they should be more like the Republicans. If they lose, ti’s because they weren’t like the Republicans enough.
The Democratic base, and i say this as someone who willingly voted straight D ticket and has for a long time, keeps trying to kick the football and the Democratic Party keeps yanking it back at the last second. Every time.

When it comes down to it, when they’re forced to take a side, the centrists will always side with the fascists over the Left. We’ve seen that happen consistently.

She’s definitely going after the Republicans because they’re the ones who have the power to force this release. The Dems have no real impact as long as the Republicans vote as a bloc, which they are likely to do. This is basically a threat to people who might step out of line that their records might be next.
