They let 23 people leave the ship and then said they’d let the rest debark on the canaries… (Though that was thankfully stopped) This is not looking good.
It has a long incubation period too and one of the infected was a flight attendant, so she probably went on even more flights after.
If this were to become a pandemic (which would require the disease to be very infectious, which nerds say it isnt, but then again those nerds do say a lot of stuff) then you still wouldn’t have to worry about it being another COVID. The mortality rate is much higher
On the other hand I don’t think it has the same issues as long-covid so
It’s not COVID. It’s less contagious by far. It requires closer contact for longer and has a shorter infectivity period. The media is just blowing up about it because the media is blowing up about it. We’ve had a billion headlines in a week and there’s like, eight infections total.
It’s like how the media couldn’t shut up about train derailments after Palestine USA, because people clicked more on derailment stories, despite derailments being mostly mundane.

Pretty sure its because they blew up the train more than just derailment.
When did this happen? Last I saw, I think yesterday, this was the plan. Although I don’t have a good source. Was just waiting for it to happen before making a post
At a later news conference, however, Spain’s health minister Monica Garcia Gomez doubled down on the plan, saying the ship would dock in Tenerife, “within three days.”
I guess we will have to see if Spain or local gov has its way in the end

Is the FA confirmed to have hanta?
I guess it’s only a possible virus so far
Will be a huge tell imo. Narrative now is it spreads from close contact. If FA picked it up that blows the theory wide open
There is already that french guy who caught it from a flight apparently
I was being kind of jokey but I am actually pretty terrified. I don’t think I could handle a second COVID with millions dying again

I might be misunderstanding the situation, but it seems like the regional government has blocked it

Why are they so desperate to dock it?
