    Honestly, given Hollywood’s history with, uh, historical accuracy, I’ll happily take the right.

    At the end of the day, art is at least as much about the audience as the subject.

      Wearing unmarked armor and no helmet seems suicidal. You want to protect your head and be easily recognizable to your allies.

        You also want to be easily recognizable to your enemies, so when you lose, instead of getting killed by some random peasant you get captured and ransomed back to your family.
