Talk to your partner that arguments should be started via text, however the second party should not read or respond to it. This will allow whoever is angry to dumb their anger, and when you meet again, they would have already forgotten, and therefore it was more likely just a shitty day, or they haven’t forgotten but had enough time to articulate their grievances without being a meanie beanie.
if i have an argument with my wife it’s an actual dispute which needs to be talked out, sometimes that takes weeks before it happens. none of us has ever those “in the moment” outbreaks.
I definitely wouldn’t not forget why I was mad in any reasonable amount of time and leaving problems unaddressed comes back and bites you in the ass eventually

I used to schedule send my angry texts or emails for 1hr in the future. Before the deadline passed I always end up deleting it and never let it send
