Depends on where you’re from and how competitive the EV market is.
In Europe you can get a citroen e-C3 for $24,500
In china you can get a EV for under $5000
In the US, I see list price for a Bolt or Leaf each under $30k new. I don’t know if the reality is different
Those are a bit more than compliance cars.

Just news. We’re now heading the early adopter phase and moving to the mainstream. This often comes with some wild fluctuations. Expect a lot of headlines like “the EV boom is over” etc. Until all of a sudden we’re at 50% market share.
