The region lock of my game in the UK was clearly due to political reasons. I do not blame Valve nor Steam, the blame is on the UK government and authorities that are pissed off by a video game.

On their flawed logic, the most recent Call of Duty Black Ops 6 should be banned as well. As you play as an American soldier and go to Iraq to kill Iraqi people. What I can say is that we see clearly the double standards.

It isn’t just Palestinians who want to see ZioNazi stormtroopers sent to hell.

An updated version of the game was released in 2023 which allowed players to reenact the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel, as well as other events from the Israel–Hamas war.

Saying this game is from a “Palestinian perspective” is highly misleading. It’s from a Hamas perspective, and is explicitly a pro-Hamas game where you commit terror attacks and behead non-military Israelis.

I’m very aware of how evil Israel has been over the years, but glorifying that music festival attack is not “showing the war from a Palestinian perspective” - it’s celebrating a terrorist attack against civilians.

Hamas is recognised as a terrorist institution by the UK, so I’m not really surprised this game got banned. I imagine a game where you play as a Russian soldier torturing Ukrainians would be banned too, if the intention of the game was to paint Russia in a positive light.

I also find it quite disgusting how people think so lowly of Palestinians that they automatically assume they’re synonymous with Hamas. This is the same bullshit thinking that had people thinking if you’re Irish you’re IRA or pro-IRA.

The game creator should not be saying this is from a Palestinian perspective, as being Palestinian doesn’t make you a terrorist.

Ok? I’m not disputing that. But that’s an entirely different discussion. Disliking the IDF or Israel’s government does not mean you should support/glorify a terrorist attack on civilians at a music festival.

E: yikes. Supporting beheading civilians isn’t a good look. If you think people at a concert deserve to be beheaded because they’re from Israel then you are sick.

Beheading civilians at a concert is not ok. It is not defensible. Championing that behaviour is really weird.

I get that you hate them, think they’re impure or whatever. But beheading? You like that?

Wasn’t there a scene in call of duty modern warfare where you have to kill innocent people at the airport? Is call of duty also banned in UK?
