minus-squaresuperkret@feddit.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up28·edit-22 months agoYeah, but it’s God as we understand Him so it’s totally not a Christian cult when the next steps include: Admitting to God the exact nature of our wrongs Having God remove all these defects of character Humbly asking Him to remove our shortcomings Seeking through prayer to improve our contact with God Praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. Carrying this message to other alcoholics You can totally follow all these steps as an atheist, too!
