    He will definitely instigate a brutally violent Tiananmen-style attack on protests, and use it to impose some sort of Martial Law, so he can suspend the 2026 mid-terms. He can’t afford to lose his slim majority in either chamber, or Dems will take control of investigative committees with subpoena and arrest powers.

    But the timing has to be right. If he does it too early, it will give the courts time to weigh in on it before the election. He will do it next year, stirring up violence all summer, and calling for Martial Law in the Late summer/ early Fall.

    In the meantime, he will cause all sorts of mayhem, just to piss everybody off, so that the protests next summer will be enormous. Then his attacks can kill lots of his opposition members.
