    guess what? If i cant afford my medical debt, i aint payin it. I already paid for it in taxes, not my fault they chose to spend that money poorly :)

      i did that once… i got a few bills from the hospital for the ambulance ride and checkup after an accident… they said I owed them $6600 total… i just never responded to their letters and moved around a bit over the next couple years and just stopped getting requests for payment altogether after that

        If you ask for an itemized bill they usually drop it because the itemized was written by an insurance company and is total nonsense.

        Stuff like $800 for saline and $135 for a single ibuprofen.
