Don’t worry, they retconned/baited us with this mutant genocide and everybody was fine, thus justifying Xavier’s decisions…once again. Getting really tired of Charles ngl. Also really wish they’d just let a Genosha or Krakoa be a permanent or at least long-lasting fixture instead of doing yet another genocide plot.
I didn’t find “actually every mutant who ever died is in a secret pocket dimension disconnected from the rest of reality where you can pretend they’re all off having a good time while we never mention them again,” to be a particularly satisfying resolution to 5 years of world building and character growth.
