Yeah, I check the stock daily. They’re doing fine because every cunt in the world keeps buying.

I’m doing my part by being as rude and mean to any tesla driver I can. They need to know nazis of all types are hated.

Hmmmm, would a high suicide rate of billionaires be beneficial to society…

Nah, I prefer the Luigi method.

how the fuck does a guy gain control of the regulatory agencies overseeing the industries he works in, and then proceed to fucking lose money? this is up there with ‘bankrupting a casino’ levels of stupid

The problem with all of those in Trump’s circle, they all are good at destruction while having absolutely no real talent in business. Aside from providing funding, Elon has in no way brought any sort of business skill to grow his companies.

He lost money because he showed he is a Nazi and had no plan for how to actually take advantage of taking out regulators beyond the idea he has no rules anymore.

A lot of online grifters like to make it out like manipulating people is some kind of deep, dark, esoteric “dark jedi” skill.

Nah, it’s easier than almost anything else you can do, but most people don’t even try because they have self-respect, decency and an innate resistance against lying and lying and lying directly to someone’s face over and over and doubling down when challenged.

That’s really all it takes, is the ability to lie. If you can lie, you can manipulate your way all the way to the top, because people broadly do not assume someone else will do this so easily.

My father was a narcissistic personality a lot like Trump or Musk, he lied and lied and lied and made millions and then lost it all, because… as you could expect, it was all built on lies. But it does work. I’ve seen whole board-rooms of people pretending to be adults listening to my father’s spiels about financial nonsense and Christian beliefs and then throw checks at him. The fact that people in power are so easily swayed should terrify us all.

It’s depressing how much headlines can deceive. This is /r/politics all over again, with the most “technically true” statements that get people excited but the results you expect from reading the headlines will never come

hey. stocks do NOT reflect profit. a stock is not what makes money it’s just a share % of the company/investment. just because stocks go up does not mean a company is making profit. there is a HUGE difference! please understand that, thank you.

Tesla stocks skyrocketed when Musk looked like he was unoficially elected as the new president. Now that he’s got all the files he needs via Doge and he’s backing out, they went back to normal growth.

Tesla’s stock price going up or down is a completely different matter than company earnings. The report is on their actual company profits, which are down 71% – meaning they aren’t selling as many cars. That’s a big deal. Let’s keep making sure that owning a Tesla becomes completely socially unacceptable.

Tesla reported lower than expected earnings on Tuesday, with first-quarter profits dropping 71% on much lower sales of electric vehicles.

The issue is less that they’ve returned to normal growth and more that they have lost countless future sales. This is only the beginning of Tesla’s woes.

I’d buy a Tesla honestly but I can’t afford one. I can’t afford a gas shitbox either. When my car gets too expensive to repair I’m going to be so fucked.
