Norway stop supporting baby Nazi Elon.
Oh, it’s the same misleading statistic from last month, guess it gets headlines and clicks
Paying the AI bots to slop this to the trough in the hopes it will make a dent in the downward spiral.
Edit: haha and it’s downvoted. No bots here!
There are electric vehicles far better and cheaper than the Model Y currently available. I wonder why it’s the best selling one. Perhaps because Tesla offers fewer models, making other manufacturers’ stats look diluted?
I wish we had fewer models of things. Drills, washers, vacuums, printers, etc. I get different features should cater to different audiences, but it’s taken to the extreme. Does one feature need to make a whole different model? If so, then I guess even the Tesla Model Y has different models - AWD, RWD, LR RWD (is that even still a thing?), Performance.
One aspect I hate about this is that it’s so hard to find long term reviews. Brands change a tiny thing on their product and it’s a new model number.
A different inverter, motor, display, HDMI input configuration and it goes from FM344-02 DX to FM345-SL-Plus.
When shopping for a new washing machine, TV oder whatever consumer product you can imagine you only find reviews from either influencers that get paid by the manufacturer or it’s an Amazon review from someone who just unpacked it, tells me about the delivery process and how the first three days have been.
I want a single mother of triplets tell me if the washing machine made it through the diaper years. I want the retired soap opera addict to tell me how the TV performs after 20 seasons of Dallas or whatever grannies binge these days.
Leading the pack is Tesla‘s Model Y, which captured a 7.7% market share with 869 new registrations

The amount of power those screens use is peanuts compared to the drive train.
I can chill in my car with AC, screens, and charge my steam deck for hours and my battery only goes down a couple %.
My car uses 1KW in that state. That’s as precise as it shows me, so I’m guessing it’s rounded up. Taking it at face value, with a 65KWh battery it would take 65 hours to drain completely (I like easy math).
Interesting. How much does that go up when you’re driving and all those autonomous aids and scanners kick in? Not trolling - geniunely curious?
I wouldn’t really be able to tell with the information it provides. But that 1KW figure does factor in the camera array since I can access it idle.
