Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg not only is a media giant but also a sporting fanatic. While everyone is aware of his love for combat sports, only a few know about his interest in surfing. Like Meta has a knack for launching a new update every once in a while, its maker has a fondness for surfing treacherous waves intermittently. Interestingly, paddling into the ocean helps Zuckerberg stay focused.

Jesus. What a ham-handed PR piece. He has billions, but hires Temu PR for his humanization campaign. What a complete jackass.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We can’t imagine what it’s like to be that obscenely wealthy. Logic would state that it works the other way too. They have very little concept of humanity in general. You and I would be the same if no one in the world could tell us “no”. It’s a form of psychosis, in my humble opinion.

Nah this isn’t autism. Autism has issues understanding human social rules.

He understands just fine given his manipulations, he just doesn’t care and actively works to smash them. That’s sociopathy

No, I’m almost certain it is Autism. You don’t need to like Facebook or Zuck as a person. (Please don’t) But it is inappropriate to poke at his real struggles. I think he is the classic example of money can’t buy happiness. (Or empathy)

a lack of empathy is literally the defining trait of sociopathy.

autistic people DO have empathy for fucks sake. they (we) just have trouble with unclear social cues, but understand and have emotions just fine.

zuck, musk, and the rest are sociopaths; not autistic. (they probably could be both, but the autism is definitely not the issue here…)

zuck, musk, and so on use autism as an excuse and shield against criticism, because, in their minds, it absolves them having to change their behavior. “that’s just how they are” - fuck no, that’s not how autistic people act or behave at all!

it’s INSANELY damaging to actual autistic people to go around saying people clearly displaying traits of sociopaths are autistic.

            FUCK OFF with that shit.

They are clearly spergs AND billionaires. It looks like such a combination is especially not photogenic

What is funny here, in this post, is their autistic traits and media clumsiness that is so characteristic for rich neurodivergents (as non rich people generally are not in any media obviously)

Hence the post focuses on the spectrum traits and it will be discussed from such angle naturally if we see them

If they were some poor autistic sob from Andalusia then we just would have to rein in our remarks but for billionaires it’s a free game to harass them for any reason. That’s what we agreed upon

Therefore we harass them for autistic displays in media as it is very easy but we must pretend that this is not autism to stay coherent in our moral righteousness and not evoke cognitive dissonance

Are you saying that we harass billionaires? I’m not sure I like the word harass as that seems almost like stalking. Instead we can make fun of them when they make dumb choices and hold them accountable for there actions.

I’m not saying it’s the coolest photo out there. It’s just the first photo I’ve seen of him where it’s not absolutely cringe at first glance.

Like, take any other photo of him, put somebody else there in the exact situation, and it’s still a cringe photo. This one though? Nah, pretty cool if it was someone else. Thats all I was trying to get across

Zuckerberg surfs every morning right before he indulges in his complicated work algorithms, reports the New York Post. Now obviously being an IT giant comes with a casket full of responsibilities

Dressing up as a thicc Geosha Surfer every morning helps Zuck deal with his daily casket of problems.

Hey i like vr, I think it’s neat that we had a billionaire pour liquid money on it and make a shit ton of r&d, even if it still hasn’t become a breakthrough killer platform.

I think it shows spine… Or something.

Zuck has been nothing but terrible for the state of VR. Oculus was doing fine before Facebook bought them, and since then all they’ve contributed is trying to fragment the ecosystem.

Nah the Quest 3 (and I’d argue still the 2) is easily the best headset on the market right now.

Nothing else comes close to the features, quality, and most importantly the price.

You can hate meta and Facebook and the zucc all you want but they are doing legitimate really really cool things with VR

I like VR too! But all those billions aren’t going into R&D, they are going into their shitty “metaverse” & exclusivity deals for VR content providers. Meta is just trying to capture the VR market before it properly gets going, so they have a revenue stream like Google & Apple.

That’s very bad for the future of VR. If they succeed, it will massively dampen the market of possible ventures, and will ensure one of the worst companies on the planet gets even more personal information from everyone.
