    There also seems to be an onus on the family of the victims to do a public show of forgiveness even hugging. I get that they may do it for their own relief but the way its paraded knowing full well they won’t find justice rubs me the wrong way

      Yeah, it’s so fucked up how much emphasis is put on “forgiveness” in our culture. No matter how awful a person is, or what kind of horrible things they’ve done, or how little genuine remorse they actually show, we should always forgive, because “it is the right thing to do.”

        For real. Yet a lot of the same people would kick their child out if they came out as lgbt. Or support others doing so. Where the so called right thing there? Man should do one where the CEO shot by luigi says healthcare should be a right see how much ppl will swoon then
