Last week I listened to playwright Harold Pinter’s Nobel prize speech. He gave it in 2005. The first 10 minutes or so are nothing special but it soon becomes a lengthy critique of Dubya and the United States.
One sometimes forgets that torturers become easily bored. They need a bit of a laugh to keep their spirits up. This has been confirmed of course by the events at Abu Ghraib in Baghdad.

I don’t know anything about him. He is a good guy? Or is this nothing more than a PR-canny lib doing something that will get him “good trouble” cred and also give him significant media (and social media) attention. I assume he’ll get an interview with somebody like Maddow. Surely nobody on Bluesky ever heard of the guy and now here’s all over the place.
