I… actually agree with him on this. For Syria to become politically stable, its economy needs to improve, and it is currently in shambles.
While it remains to be seen whether the new leadership can improve the country, at least allowing foreign investments gives them a fighting chance.Weird to be rooting for an ex Al-Qaeda, but I’m very very carefully optimistic?

Tho. It’s in Lee of a Trump tower. It’s still the best international move. Give them a chance to not radicalize. We shall see.
