Have owned the same pocket knife for a few years, and kind of got weirdly attached to it. Decided to pick up a sharpening stone, hydrated it as per instructions, and sharpened up my old blade. It cuts like new now!

    If the labor and skill involved is a concern, get a Work Sharp. It’s like a little belt sander with guides. No folksy “man” value to be had, but all my knives get sharpened with no effort in like 10 minutes.
