The reference image was dark purple and I wanted warmer colors nearing pink. My first time blatantly changing something so far from the reference. Not feeling terribly confident about this nor her likeness. I’m looking for critical feedback if you have any.

I think you did a good job on the portrait. Maybe for the over all piece my advice would be to simplify the background. Keep the painterly trextures on her and try a color gradient tool, (if your software has it)so you don’t do the transitions yourself. This is more of a workflow suggestion, as you focus your efforts on the parts of the painting that carry the most importance.
