no joke. DC is brutal in the summer. I’m from the deep south and used to work an outdoor physical job in that shit. I remember being like “how bad can it be?” as I was there for a multi day work meeting and had a day off to take the metro in and museum hop. I was cooked from walking around outdoors by like 3pm. heavy ass, still swamp air, sun frying everything. when people complain about DC in the summer, it’s no joke.
