I honestly sorta did this for the worldbuilding notes of a future fiction short story once. Specifically that climate change left Norway so unbearably hot that working-class people in this country, even those with boobs, started shaving their heads and wearing only white loincloths, and this was seen as basically dressing like an Ancient Egyptian slave. Not necessarily fully true to actual Egyptian history but definitely evoking the image of it.
