• Sir! No Sir! paints a picture of forgotten history, an apparatus of state security whose greatest victory is making itself appear to most as eternal and powerful instead of transient and brittle.

i think if there hasn’t already been some glitches in the program, well hushed up and kept under wraps, that this administration more than any could draw them out. mostly from incompetence and certain, unshakeable belief in the myth-making of white nationalist patriots and professional warriors and their oaths to follow orders from increasingly craven figureheads, their incompetent lackeys and naked opportunists.

any other administration i would believe could navigate an unpopular, unsolicited national guard deployment of people to overpolice their own state issued by a federal government on the brink of shutting down. there would be some CR that at least covered the security apparatus, or the unshakable belief that one was coming in a day or within the week.

but i really think the trump team is that stupid, to bluff all the way while holding absolute garbage. of course, i can also see some democrats totally eating the turd, so whatever.
