I was hyped when I read this as “Australian military…” still hyped for Austria but I am pretty sure there is no way in hell australia could be this progressive unfortunately.
More progressive than Austria is a freakishly low bar.
I think this is more about national security than progressiveism. For any military to use Microsoft word at this point sounds irresponsible to the point of bordering treason.
