Was this ever a demand by payment processors??? To remove games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077? I really don‘t see how this is evidence of Valve pushing back against anything. Perhaps people need to stop brainlessly sucking off Valve‘s dick for a minute.
Valve axed smut games because it was an easy business decision requiring minimum effort. They chose the boring and predictable path of lowest resistance which is the exact opposite of what they‘re being praised for here. Of course it‘s mildly annoying for Valve and they would rather sell whatever they want but they‘re not fighting for customers here at all.
