Having the minimum wage be indexed to inflation was a really nice start for the provinces that have it.
Now, minimum wage STILL isn’t enough and there really should be another big bump to bring it in line with the average cost of living at the least. The only concern with this fight to finally bring minimum wage up to the average cost of living is that gives an opportunity for inflation indexing to be dropped with that minimum wage bump which would eventually bring us back to square one like how past minimum wage bumps were before tying to inflation

Of course Alberta is the lowest, despite how much they constantly whine about affordability.
Alberta has a lot of work to do.
Getting rid of Marlaina is a good start.
