Fifty-five Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from 19 EU member states have signed a letter to the President of the European Council, António Costa, urging the “immediate opening” of accession negotiations with the Republic of Moldova. Ukraine will be a member of the EU as much as Moldova and many others. This is not on Moscow to decide.
In a very distant future, I hope also Russia will be a member, once the country will have started democratic reform.
