Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday, the White House deputy chief of staff launched into an unhinged rant against Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson—both of whom Donald Trump has called to be jailed—while accusing them of failing to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
Every time I see some news from the USA now I’m beginning to wonder whether it’s me that’s losing touch with reality or the US. But it’s getting harder to accept what I’m seeing and hearing.
All major news orgs are simply parroting the lies from the fascist administration. People are protesting against ICE kidnapping people and racially profiling and deporting people without due process(and lots of other things, but these protests are the ones the administration treats the worst). Anytime you see something stephen miller says, it is a lie.
If a Federal official, especially a Trump appointee, says something it’s almost guaranteed to be a lie.
Imagine living here. I was borderline agoraphobic before the red hats invaded. Now I never leave the house without my bodycam and pistol. Crazy comes at you fast.

Obligatory, the founding members of the think tank that created Project 2025 were up to some fuckery in Russia during the late 80s and early 90s.
Holding mock elections to teach Soviet officials about democracy and “free” markets, helping to establish the first go between for U.S.-Russia businesses when they embraced capitalism. Teaching them how you should run government like a business out of the kindness of their hearts.
There’s a reason the U.S. is feeling increasingly like post Soviet Russia, and a reason it feels like some people in positions of power seem to be pushing for secession and the collapse of the Union. They are, and the members of the Heritage Foundation that helped establish post Soviet Russia never intended to help them establish democracy regardless of what they claimed to be doing in the late 80s.
The oligarchy they created in Russia wasn’t democracy gone wrong. It’s the result of their test run overthrowing an established government, and it went exactly like they hoped. They replaced it with a state run corporation, free of any public protections or accountability.
Now they’re dismantling our federal government under the guise of replacing it with a Christian Nationalists government.
Meanwhile, Russia is feeding their “patriots” the same BS, and using a nearly identical playbook. The only difference is which nation their patriots have to be willing to fight and lay down their lives for (Russia vs US) but the outcome is the same, the Oligarchs always win.
When you see people like Curtis Yarvin and people like Musk/Thiel that worship something like The Sovereign Individual, you get an idea of the mindset. Or when you see that Bannon wants to crash the system…I would not be at all surprised if Russia and other enemies gave these people a boost, started whispering crazy shit in their ear and validating crazy shit they already believed. I’m quite sure they wanted Taco to win every time he ran, and I’m sure they did their part to assist.
Between those crazy assholes with wayyy too much influence and the Seven Mountains Mandate fuckery (remember: Charlie Kirk was part of that madness) that also has way too much influence…we just have groups with way too much influence that actually HATE and DESPISE what this country is supposed to stand for. They want to break it and loot it - and as for the normal Americans? Well, they are just subjects that have to deal with the whims of these weird freaks that are fundamentally, by definition, ANTI-AMERICAN.
