thanks but it was always free for me anyway.
also the fact that stiching together the various clips and scenes you already get the whole story.
I think that does csm a disservice. The author is known for his love of movies and the film like panel layout. The pacing and the order of scenes gives you a closer feeling of how denjis state of mind changes with all the highs and lows.
The animation and the visuals are great but the emotional journey is well worth it.
Says starts Oct 11th, but as of 7:00 Pacific time watching it via Crunchy Roll’s YouTube channel still requires signing up for a trial membership. 🦜
Wow, they really want this movie to be a success, huh? I mean, I do hope it succeeds, but dang.
I watched it a few days ago (it’s been out for a week already where I am).
It’s good, but I’ve got a hunch that people who like the first half won’t like the second half, and vice versa. It’s a slightly odd film, pacing-wise, but maybe in a good way? It definitely hasn’t let the franchise down.
Does it feel like an actual movie, or like a bunch of episodes strewn together?
It’s one story. It’s not episodic, but there is a major gear change halfway through.
(I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that, for reasons that will be clear once you see it)
Is it as jarring as watching Evangelion Rebuild 2.0 and then immediately watching Evangelion Rebuild 3.0?
gear change
So Chainsaw Man adds a transmission to his chainsaw?!

From slapstick anime to serious business.
From visual effects party to clay stop motion /s
Do this with Made in Abyss HiDive. I dare you.
(Demon Slayer would make more money than god if they copy this)
Demon slayer doesn’t need to do this tbh. Their recent movie rocked the box office if I remember well.
Yes but they could silksong the box office.
As if we don’t have enough collective trauma!
all the people I personally know that liked this show are psychopaths.
no thanks.
Sounds like you gotta meet more people
I dunno probably I am.
