Obviously I’m not fully in the state to write a full post about this on account of texting 988. Regardless, I’m pretty sure it is AI on the other end. I have neither evidence nor doubt for this claim. But holy shit the thing on the other end feels cold and souless. I know eating disorder hotlines experimented with AI briefly but I didn’t know 988 implemented that as well. I know I’m one of the more pro-LLM users on here because I see it as Exel for natural language input but holy shit we live in hell. I’ll try to prove it later.
