You can skip those. I’m not sure what the keyboard command is, but on controller, hit triangle or Y when you roll. It goes straight to the final result.
You can skip them but still have to let it pop up, I’ve also been put off by this. Also most of the arguments are people saying things like “but it’s dnd, you’re supposed to have the dice” which is fair but I disagree, BG3 isn’t a ttrpg and the animation showing up is immersion breaking.
Honestly, I kinda agree with you on this. There have been many dnd games, none that I’ve played have included the bts stuff because it does sorta break the immersion in a video game. I do like having this as a mod though, because that makes it optional, and some people might like it!
I just click again right after clicking the dice to roll them, it skips the animation and just gives me the finished roll, complete with added bonuses.
