They’re called 15 minute cities
Or just the average European city or small town
Which version did you test last? 4 was horribly bad, 5 got a little better, but i feel like with 6 they got it under control now. At least on openSuse.

Can’t wait to see a server meltdown in orbit…

Common mistake. He was actually talking about Piece. A piece of Iran, a piece of Venezuela, a piece of Greenland…

Literally every single city bus in my small German 50k home town is wheelchair accessible. The bus drivers are also required to assist. And the trains are increasingly being replaced with similarly accessible versions, including modifications to the platforms to allow easy entry. U-Bahn trains are, as far as i know, always accessible for a long, long time now. At least in the cities i’ve visited so far. For example Munich: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3CA46JXd2g
For less connected areas, we have a “Rufbus”, that can come and collect you similarly to a taxi service. They try to get multiple people if they can. And they also have cars for wheelchair users at their disposal.
In terms of automating, yes it’s slow. Regulations have to be applied or worked out to make it work. Which is reasonable. Nuremberg does have the first driverless U-Bahn, though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_U-Bahn

If only there was some kind of system, that could take multiple people from A to B, with only one dude in front to keep track of what the automated system is doing. Ideally on some form of predictable track, that makes sure that the vehicle always stays in line without the need of advanced AI. Someone should invent that.
I was too late for IRC, but i was just in time for chat websites. Never was interested in 10-finger-typing, until i discovered online chats. After that, i was one of the fastest in my class.

There were several attempts for that. The most recent one is PhotoGIMP, which is actually a patch and not a port. Before that, there used to be Gimpshop, but the dude behind it got fucked over by someone who bought a dotcom domain with that name and served ad and spyware. Though, ever since the major gui rework several years ago, i don’t see much of a point. It is a different software, no matter how much you try to cover it up, the functionality and workflow will always be different. And most other commercial software don’t constantly try to copy some other software either.
The problem is, that we’re already at a point where some images require experienced eyes to be spotted. Someone working in graphics can tell, someone who doesn’t will have more trouble to differentiate. At it’ll get worse, because you just know, they’ll double down on improving the AI up until a point where fiction and reality becomes indistinguishable when it comes to photos.

Did Google ever have a support department?
Also, one of many reasons i keep my backups in my own four walls. Granted, if everything burns down, it’s gone. But in that case i’m going to have bigger problems than losing my data. Another alternative would be a portable disk locked away at the bank.
The sad thing is, that the US is throwing a lot of money into their “healthcare system”. More than most first world countries. Yet, the population is getting… nothing. So basically, you’re paying taxes for nothing, other than filling the pockets of a bunch of greedy oligarchs. Your system is broken, and was broken for a very long time, but decades of propaganda brainwashed a large chunk of the population to just accept that, and so they spout nonsense about “defending Europe” as some form of excuse that their fellow countrymen and women are literally dying of preventable and curable diseases.
And the biggest irony is, that a healthy workforce and population would be beneficial even in capitalism. Most European countries understood that.

Those aren’t the same people. More often than not, the people who fuck the environment the most, tend to finance parties that want to end any environmental protection.
