  • Assume enforcement will be selective and everyone understands the general vibe of the actual target, but the language is very broad could refer to literally anyone.

The current government jails everyone it doesn’t like then makes up a crime. Having a crime that’s completely in the air and applicable to everyone is more of a feature than a bug.

Or just that should they choose that, it is understood they do not have to go through the same hoops as trans people.

Yes. Involuntary surgery and hormonal treatment on intersex children is really common, so this is just a loophole that if a child is decided to be the opposite of the sex assigned at birth(this is done by a fucking committee with no input from the child or parent, parents are just told to raise their kid accordingly afterwards) the change will be done without any more caveats.

If I had to guess how many such hospitals exist… I’m gonna say… zero?

Yes. Currently only a few select hospitals offer any gender-affirming care at all and the Ministry of Health looked into most of them this summer. After this I imagine most of them will be deemed too lax and kicked out.

  • In med school most people are AI stans even though it’s often useless because it can’t fetch the newest info or doesn’t have anything detailed on the topic. People will ask questions about a certain topic and inevitably no matter how much actual explanation has been done someone will send a screenshot of ChatGPT. Sometimes people will insist exam questions are incorrect because ChatGPT says a different, obviously incorrect thing. I’ve seen a dude not listen to the teacher in class and ask ChatGPT in real time when the teacher was giving a very clear explanation.

Worst, we’ve had our school give conferences on “Using AI to boost productivity” to med students.

  • People coming here to say this don’t seem to understand we hate both candidates, vast majority of American politicians and the entire American political system.

I am personally not in the West and the identity of the president affects nothing here. I do know trans people in America and I was hoping Kamala would win, even if I was too disgusted by her stance on Palestine, until I learned her actions as a prosecutor and “we should follow the law” statement on trans people, showing she would not be a hardliner on trans issues. That was the one advantage she might’ve had over Trump.

It is because the candidates are both hateworthy and ghoulish that it’s funny to laugh at people who are convinced one of them is morally pure or advantageous for the average person. We also had a few laughs at chuds who thought Trump was anti-war.

tl;dr Trump indeed bad. The issue isn’t that Trump good but that acting like Trump is the worst person in American politics or a root cause of the current problems is rather bizarre.
