FiveMacs@lemmy.cato Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Micro$oft when I try to enjoy my local drive in peaC:\6·22 hours agoI’ve never had an account… not sure what weirdness you experienced but I’ve never once been pestered or asked for a login. Infact, the only thing I get is the ‘lets finish setting up windows’ full screen trash, which is just a window and I can alt-f4 to close. It’s been years like that.
FiveMacs@lemmy.cato Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Micro$oft when I try to enjoy my local drive in peaC:\3·22 hours agoCan confirm. I have never had W10P bug me about OneDrive. I don’t have, nor will I ever have an account for microshit. Local user only. All files stored locally and have never been promoted to do otherwise.
Uhhh screw respect in this instance? If this kid says something to someone, you could be arrested and brought before a court even if nothing happened. They clearly are already lying about the whole scenario. Burn that bridge, asap. I’d even possibly involve parents so they know what’s up. Clear the air before some teen gossip happens and things get out of control.

I have my own domain for emails, but he’ll if I’m giving that email to any company that isn’t financial stuff for my house. Ya know…actual important things.

I take offense to this. Am I wrong? What can I do? Anything?889·2 days agoMaybe if you drivers could actually mange your fucking log books and follow the safety regulations we wouldn’t need to have ELDs and camera and GPS and fucking canbus monitoring
Those companies would deploy this shit anyways even if the logs were perfect. Anything to blame the employee can and will be deployed.

The ultimate 'great lie'.8·4 days agoI just don’t care to listen, believe anything any big corpo says…they lie, have no obligation to be truthful ever and will never face consequences. They all suck, all their products are trash and nothing will make me see anything differently.
I only buy for need now. Wants hardly exist anymore. I’ve checked out and it’s saved me loads oas a result.

I recommend pressure switch tubing for furnaces. Not sure if it’ll take that bend radius though.
