Why does her PFP look like a candid shot taken of her while she is in the midst of recovering from covid or something lol. Eye bags, robe, messy hair, etc. Like I get it we all look like that sometimes, but as your PFP?

Also the liberal focus on stuff like that literally empowers people like Trump and neo-nazi’s. Because average people get annoyed by it.

The average person thinks: “I’m worried about maintaining my quality of life.”

A Nazi says, “It’s the jewish elite making your life bad!”

In a vacuum the average person hears that and thinks, “That’s a weird thing to say.”

But then when the liberals come out and start losing their minds about “Antisemitism is the greatest threat to our society right now!” While not even trying to speak to that average persons concerns the average person goes back to the Nazi and says, “Alright, so what were you saying again? I’m actually curious now.”

That is exactly how liberalism breeds fascism. It refuses to acknowledge the real world suffering of everyday people and so they turn to fascism because fascism DOES acknowledge those things. It just deflects blame to some other group of people, but in the eyes of the average person atleast, the fascist is validating their concerns.

That’s why it’s so important as socialists that we have to be out there speaking to those real issues and telling people what the real problems are. And why it’s so important that we NEVER cave in to liberal framing. Because any association with liberals poisons our own message.

I kind of am of the opinion that weve fallen to far into liberalism if were language policing the yemeni resistance against imperial aggression. Even if they literally meant it as a curse to all jews there is no reason to clutch our pearls about it. Itd be like clutching our pearls if an enslaved african in the 1800s said they wanted to kill all white people. They are allowed to be mad and they dont have to be PC about it.

I use mp3s and just use syncthing to keep them all synced between my devices.

I’m finding my choice to delete all accounts for any service and only use things that let me go without an email attached has been a very good choice. Why the fuck does spotify need a social network? It feels like we’re approaching the day where grocery stores start posting your face next to all the stuff you bought on a big screen after checkout and announcing it to the store. It’s not even a lack of privacy where companies and the govt want to see everything. They want the whole world to know everything you do.

Personally I fix it by just not having an account. FreeTube gets the job done and they can’t track an account that doesn’t exist.

yes but thats just security updates it will still work fine and still be much more secure than what OP has now. Or they could just get a 7 or 8 instead and have support longer.

Does everything I need it to do just fine. Just FYI you will need to install graphene yourself or its gonna have google bloatware on it. I never used mine with stock android only with graphene so I can’t say if it would run badly that way.
