I might try to install freenas on synology? Dont think they will leave backdoor in the hardware

i have done some research and they are not very specific about what data they are collecting, will they collect users password/bookmarks? i thought sync is encrypted and server is impossible to decrypt user’s data? so what data are they collecting exactly?

maybe u could try changing all your previous posts and comments to something like, “This has been deleted in protest of Reddit’s privacy policy. Please use lemmy.world instead”?
I don’t think we can create an account using tor, and people might not be able to see posts on onion sites?
do u have any recommendations? or all residential VPN requires paying? because i simply need to use them to create an account and nothing more.

We are lucky to find this platform but others are not. cant deny that there are some useful posts and nice people on reddit. So having a reddit account could still be helpful I think.
Can I save it locally as an inverted pdf?
