Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•that's some fucking aerodynamics broEnglish
6·12 days agoI would guess the same, but for a wacky shape like that rv it’s pretty hard to say
I don’t know much about this, but I’ve seen a bunch of videos of apple harvesting machines doing their thing. Just search for “apple harvester” and you’ll see a zillion videos
Why wouldn’t they continue to lease out the plot and receive perpetual income?
You have to be careful when the input is discharged from the system, it can really make a mess of things

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•that's some fucking aerodynamics broEnglish
272·12 days agoIt’s even possible that the boat adds basically no additional drag, and it’s even remotely possible that it decreases drag. Mythbusters proved that a flatbed pickup truck actually gets worse mileage when driving with the rear door down instead of up, even though it seems like driving with it up would create a big wall that would constantly smash into the air.
Aerodynamics isn’t nearly as intuitive as people assume.
Not voting either way is also an option

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Thoughts on privacy focused smart glasses?English
31·18 days agoThere’s a bunch of good uses for them (but none that outweigh the privacy problems). For example when you look at someone you met before it can pop up info about them like their name, business relationship to you, topic interests you’ve talked about before, etc.

24·19 days agoThat isn’t a surprise, diet makes a massively bigger difference than exercise, but the real goal needs to be sustainability.

7·23 days agoThis is a much better response. In business you have to speak business-speak. This is the business-speak way of saying no.

Cool, but the he AI mode on your camera is way too aggressive, when you zoom in these pics look like an old video game. There’s often a setting to turn off ai or automatic editing or whatever they call it
