Finally I can put some take into this. I’ve worked in memory testing for years and I’ll tell you that it’s actually pretty expected for a memory cell to fail after some time. So much so that what we typically do is build in redundancy into the memory cells. We add more memory cells than we might activate at any given time. When shit goes awry, we can reprogram the memory controller to remap the used memory cells so that the bad cells are mapped out and unused ones are mapped in. We don’t probe memory cells typically unless we’re doing some type of in depth failure analysis. usually we just run a series of algorithms that test each cell and identify which ones aren’t responding correctly, then map those out.

None of this is to diminish the engineering challenges that they faced, just to help give an appreciation for the technical mechanisms we’ve improved over the last few decades

  • Using the phrase ’ “genocide” claimers’ immediately discredits the discussion as a valid one. People dying everyday under the pretense of being Palestinian is not something to minimize. Naivete is not realizing the true devastation going on over there and the actions of Biden haven’t done much to stop and reverse that. We, as a country, are funding that and its difficult for those against this battle to come to terms with the lack of power we have. We need to hold our politicians accountable. I fully agree Trump is a giant POS and wouldn’t be a good alternative. The thing you have to be able to meet others with though is that Biden didn’t come through for us even when we, in mass, told him he’s wrong. Thats costly and him relying on indestructibility is going to likely show in the polls. Have a genuine conversation if you really want to sway votes

Ok so I’m by far an expert on world wars but from I understand, America did play a rather isolationist position prior to pearl harbor. We can agree that politically America had some pull on things going on in Europe but they didn’t actively put boots on the ground until shit got really close. Giving others weapons to fight with is one thing. Sacrificing your own lives for the world is a different one
