Unfortunately the only music software I’m somewhat productive in runs only on Windows or Mac, and I really can’t afford Apple’s hardware prices. So it’s either using WIndows, or being very limited at a very dear creative outlet.

Yes but visual overhauls with modlists perform and look better than ENB solutions.
The easiest way to install a modlist is Wabbajack. Unfortunately I don’t have a specific recommendation.
ENB is not state of the art for visually modding Skyrim anymore, and modding would be artificially reducing fps anyway. They could as well run a number cruncher in the background.
Oh no someone with business and management experience takes on a business management role in a business that runs solely to acquire money. Nintendo‘s pricing policies are already maxed for profitability, anyway.
Some of my favs were already listed, I’d add Cyberpunk 2077, Max Payne 2, and Dark Souls 2 (that portamento).
Expedition 33 had ten times more personnel than Silksong, that’s gotta be another category.
The SteamDeck is a PC, it’s just handheld.
yes I was being needlessly pedantic
They do if you want to play them on a (driveless?) Xbox.
Companies are never your friends.
Never really considered that games don’t stop running on legacy hardware, but the Steam client does. GOG‘s way of downloadable installers is preferably.
Some more sources would’ve been great.
Opting for UE with its wide compatibility and user base can speed up development but you’ll still need to allot ressources to optimising which becomes harder and harder the bigger the product and the farther it is in development. Look at Eriksholm, it looks beautiful and runs with 60fps even on a Steamdeck.
That just seems so anti-SCP to me.
Maybe because they didn’t actually made a game about SCP.
awesome
I know, but DAWs are notoriously difficult to run and there are problems with most plugins.
